Tanah Lot Temple – A Legend Above the Ocean Our first stop: Tanah Lot Temple, Bali’s symbol and a postcard favorite. Rising on rocky outcrops above the Indian Ocean, this temple becomes especially beautiful when surrounded by water at high tide. In this sacred site of great importance in Balinese mythology, the temple’s legend and interesting stories about sea snakes will be explained. Great photo opportunities await you!
