Uluwatu Temple and Kecak fire dance

Overview

We have created a tour that allows you to feel the energy of nature and see how important it is for the local people’s traditions and religions.

The tour takes place in the southern part of the island, where our journey begins with beautiful beaches. Here you can swim, enjoy the sun, and take unforgettable photos!

After spending some time on the beach, we will head to the sacred Pura Luhur Uluwatu temple, located at the foot of high cliffs. You will witness beautiful views of the ocean and the architecture of this ancient temple.

After getting to know the temple and capturing it in our memory and on camera, we will go to watch the sunset fire show.

The incredible energy and magic of the Kecak dance will amaze you! The gentle movements of the body, hands and fingers, facial expressions, and the special gaze in the dancers’ eyes will surprise you and immerse you in the local traditions of Balinese mysticism. Relaxation, cultural experiences, ocean energy — this day will give you incredible memories for a lifetime!

At the agreed meeting time, our driver from Bali Island Tours will arrive at your hotel or villa. You should wait for the car at your hotel reception or near your villa.

During the day (13:00 – 13:30), you will arrive at your chosen beach on Bali’s southern coast. Each of the beaches we recommend is beautiful and surrounded by unique cliffs.

During the 1.5-hour beach stop, you will have a chance to relax, swim, enjoy solitude with nature, and admire the beauty of the scenery. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen and a hat. You will have time to take beautiful photos on the beach.

Between 16.30 – 17.00 we will continue to the sacred Uluwatu Temple tour. It is located on top of a steep cliff 70 meters above sea level. Imagine the breathtaking views and the chance to watch the ocean waves crashing against the rocks. At the temple itself, you will meet local monkeys — they are funny, but it is better to remove accessories you are wearing and leave them in the car. During the walk, you will be surrounded by great spots that you will definitely want to capture on camera.

As sunset approaches, we will head to the amphitheater to watch the Kecak fire dance. This unique dance is truly beautiful and peculiar. You will experience a complete immersion into Bali’s culture and traditions. A view of an ancient dance, the endless ocean, and the setting sun creates a magical atmosphere and makes the Kecak dance truly spectacular!

After watching the dance, if you wish, we can drop you off at a restaurant for dinner on the way back home.

Return transfer

In the evening between 19.30 – 20.30 you will return to your hotel or villa. The exact time depends on traffic and the distance to your accommodation.
