The program order may change (ask for details). Early in the morning, between 09:00 and 10:00, you will visit the Monkey Forest. In the Monkey Forest, you can feed the monkeys or simply watch the animals having fun. Be careful: the monkeys are wild animals, so it is better to leave all valuables in the car.
Next, we will visit one of three traditional Balinese temples: – Pura Tirta Empul – an ancient Hindu holy water temple (AD 926); – Goa Gajah or “Elephant Cave” – a UNESCO World Heritage site (11th century BC); – Gunung Kawi – an ancient cave complex famous for its royal tombs carved into stone cliffs in the 11th century.
Then we go to the famous Tegalalang Rice Terrace and Tegenungan waterfall in the forest. After that, you will swim in the waters of Kanto Lampo Waterfall.
After such a busy program, you will definitely need lunch. Lunch will be served in a restaurant overlooking the vast Ubud forests, with traditional Indonesian cuisine. There is a swing from the restaurant where you can enjoy the breathtaking view.
We end our program by visiting coffee plantations and trying the popular Luwak coffee on the island.
Return transfer
Between 17:00 and 18:00 you will be back at your hotel or villa; the exact arrival time at the hotel depends on traffic and the location of your hotel.
