Purification rituals are performed here — the spiritual and physical cleansing of a person. On the way to Mount Batur, you will head to the emerald rice terraces of Tegalalang and the coffee and cocoa plantations where various spices are grown. You will see the production process of the world’s most expensive coffee — “Luwak.” This coffee is unique because of the way it is produced. An animal from the civet family eats the coffee beans, selecting only the ripest and most delicious ones. After digestion is complete, these beans are refined, processed, and roasted. After that, you will find yourself at the observation deck of Mount Batur. The cool mountain breeze and the breathtaking views of the volcano and lakes will stay in your memory for a long time! Here you can enjoy a delicious lunch in a restaurant. On the way back, you will visit the Monkey Forest.
But that’s not all! You can make your trip even more interesting. Visit the hot springs at the foot of Batur, in the caldera of an ancient volcano. Your body will thank you for this bliss, and your soul will enjoy the beauty of a mountain lake!
